Artist: Sina Shoaie and Soheil Soheili

Sina Shoaie (b.1986 Tehran) started learning music from 1996 on flute. He then moved to Ukraine for six years and graduated from Kiev University of Technology and Design (KNUTD) in the field of urban furniture design with a bachelor degree, he also has a diploma in Sound Design from the same university. Since  2008, he has started an ongoing research with the topic of “Analysis of the relation between frequencies and biochemistry of the human body”. He has also participated in a series of workshops, conferences, performances with other artists in this field most notably: Workshop on architecture and frequency in National University of Kief in Annual art show of Ukraine(2009), Urban design and frequency in Ekbatan Municipality center (2011 Tehran), TADAEX 02 Frequency Workshop(2012), Performances in Saroseda collective (2012 Mohsen Gallery), Limited access festival (2013 Aran projects) and a  Lecture on Reshape #3 (2015).

Soheil Soheili (b.1983) is an interdisciplinary artist and a researcher. His background includes learning music from an early age and studying mathematics/ engineering. As both a recording artist and performer, he possesses numerous experiences ranging from deejaying in skateparks to preparing the sound for commercial live shows and complex interaction design for the audio and video performances. He is one of the co-founders of “Noise à Noise”.


Re-listening (a live album) is the result of live sound recording during Re-Listening,  a series of live performances that were organized by Otaghkaar in Cafe-baz, Tehran.
