Behrouz Farahani (b. 1984, Tehran), also known as ‘Bernisaun’ is an experimental electronic music composer, sound designer and producer. He have studied in the fields of computer hardware engineering and network design.
Bijan Moosavi is an Iranian sound artist. His practice takes place at the intersection between the ‘Iranian’ and the ‘Contemporary’. Along various trends of ‘Globalization’ within the cultural narrative of the post-revolutionary Iran, and by means of an investigatory-reflective-fictionalizing process, his work often materializes in diverse forms of aural and visual configurations.
Dirar Kalash is an experimental musician and improvisor from Palestine. Leonie Roessler is a composer, performer, and sound artist based in the Netherlands. The two met at the Institute of Sonology and started collaborating for a concert in Berlin in the summer of 2018.

Jakub Rataj (*1984) is a Czech composer of orchestral, chamber and electro-acoustic music. His work includes interactive sound installations and electroacoustic performances inspired by the human body, movement, breath, pulse and gesture.
Kasra 4k7 (b.1982) has a talent is using modular synthesizers; his background includes learning music in the Conservatory in Tehran and different collaborations.
Kaveh Shams (b.1984) is a musician, mainly working with the accounting guitars in the fields of jazz music.
Sound/Installation Artist – Composer – Performer based in The Hague, Netherlands. She is raised in Germany and then relocated to Los Angeles as a teenager. She studied classical guitar at Los Angeles City College, and received a Bachelor Degree in Composition along with a Minor in Dance Performance at California State University Northridge in 2010. She then moved to the Netherlands and earned her Master Degree in Composition at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2013. In 2016 she finished the fourth and last year of the Contemporary Music Through Non-Western Techniques Program.
Nariman Aliakbar (aka Limen) is an electronic musician and sound artist starting his career since 2010, having released an album published by BumpFoot netlabel and a few single tracks.
Magicmind (b. 1988, Tehran), start working in different fields of art including the music, graphic and visual design. He started production and mix since 2015, using Ableton live software and different analog synthesizer devices and modular synthesizers, graduated Sound Engineering from University of Tehran in 2018. In collaboration with Cosmic Crow recordings since 2016.
Nyctalllz is a Noise / Experimental Electronic/ Electroacoustic Project Formed by Morego Dimmer (aka Xerxes The Dark, Morego, Blind Owl, Nahan, Ostanes ) in autumn 2007. Nyctalllz also known as The First Iranian Noise Project. Nyctalllz released it’s first album “ESION 1” on Amduscias Records (US) and Smell The Stench (AUS) back in 2007. “ESION 2: Dissolve” and “ESION 3: Nyctalus Noctula” albums were released in 2008 on Amduscias Records. Nyctalllz fourth album “Hypnograph” released via Toxic Industries (IT) in 2016.
Parsa Hadavi (b.1995) is an Iranian musician and composer from Tehran. He first started his music training at age 4, under instruction of his father. By the age of 8, he focused on Violin as his main instrument and received his first lessons on Music Theory and Classical Music. Few years after, he began his professional education in Music Composing with Idin Samimi Mofakham and Martyna Kosecka and Piano as main instrument with Martyna Kosecka and Niloufar Badrikoohi.
Sepersa (b. 1995) is a Tehran-based musician and sound designer. He play the guitar, he also uses his laptop, digital controllers and synthesizers as his main instruments. His career includes the production of a film, together with the sound and foley design for a number of other films and theater shows.
Sina Shoaie (b.1986 Tehran) started learning music from 1996 on flute. He then moved to Ukraine for six years and graduated from Kiev University of Technology and Design (KNUTD) in the field of urban furniture design with a bachelor degree, he also have a diploma on Sound Design from the same university. From 2008 onward, he has started an ongoing research with the topic of “Analysis of relation between frequencies and biochemistry of human body”. He have also participated in series of workshops, conferences, performances with other artists in this field most notably: Workshop on architecture and frequency in National University of Kief in Annual art show of Ukraine(2009), Urban design and frequency in Ekbatan Municipality center (2011 Tehran), TADAEX 02 Frequency Workshop(2012), Performances in Saroseda collective (2012 Mohsen Gallery), Limited access festival (2013 Aran projects) and a Lecture on Reshape #3 (2015).
Soheil Soheili (b.1983) is an interdisciplinary artist and a researcher. His background includes learning music from an early age and studying mathematics/ engineering. He started learning traditional Persian music from his father, then experienced western musical instruments, namely guitars and the bass when he left the engineering classes for good. He started his serious career in the field of music as a musician in Patriam band - an independent jam band in Tehran (2002).
Sohrab Motabar (1984 – Tehran) is a musician and computer-code developer. He started his career by playing Electric Guitar and Bass in iranian local rock bands. In 2002 he entered Tehran conservatory to study jazz guitar, but in third year he found his interest in composition. Gradually he got interested in western contemporary music and electronic music, following his passion he went to Netherlands to study once again. During this time he start to explore the world of computer music specifically. During this time his works mostly deal with mathematical concepts and digital sound synthesis methods both is fixed-media compositions and live performances. He graduated from Royal Conservatory of the Hague at 2014 and currently studying at Institute of Sonology in master program. He recently had many performances in Tehran such as in Tadaex and gen.er.a.trix.
Zhoobin Askarieh (b. 1973) is a player of native instruments, percussion instruments and most notably the Yidaki (Didgeridoo). He started making music since 1999 and the idea of forming Pildam (which means someone with a vast breath) came to his mind while he was founding their music group “Pildam”, together with his wife, Rima Hassanzadeh in 2005. Pildam has performed in a large number of stages in combination with Persian traditional, and other modern instruments.
(AKA Yellow Cream) has a huge 18-year old career in playing the guitar, he have also produced electronic music since 2010; his styles varies from modern Jazz, Experimental Electronic, electronic rock and the combination of old and new styles to make his own style, he is also active in New Media and interdisciplinary projects and research.
